I found this recipe from Martha Stewart.com. I haven't had a chance to make them yet although I am setting up a tea party very soon. I have been thrifting to find tea cups and plates. I still need silverware and more tea pots for variety. I will update with pics soon!

My First Tea Time!

I experienced my first tea time! I just loved it. There were sandwiches, scones, and desserts. There is just a classy feeling I have when eating something small and sipping something organic. It sometimes feels like this is what people should be eating. People should be drinking more tea for their health and having more bite size fresh ingredients. I'm guilty like a lot of other people that eat poorly but I try the best I can. It is so quant and lovely to sip tea from a beautiful cup. Its just a time of relaxation and peace to me. Once I have more money I am inspired to go to thrift stores and find China and make afternoon tea foods. I have a feeling it wont be hard to find such beautiful things since people are losing sight of tea cups and serving trays. Before I know it I will be sipping tea reading a bio on Marie Antoinette and listening to Bach being at peace. Then the dog barks and the garbage needs taken out. BUT! Thats life I can't have those moments forever but I earn those little moments to myself as others should.
